quality: density of nap, texture of nap, stuff of nap. The nap of shag rugs consists of synthetic or natural fibers. Natural shag rugs are made of vegetative fibers, such as cotton, coco, and animal, such as wool and silk.
The synthetic fibers are applied in overwhelming majority of modern shag rugs owing to their higher hygiene properties and wear resistance. Synthetic fiber Antron ® is most eligible stuff for shag rugs. It is worked out on nylon 6 base.
The rugs with nap from nylon 6 have higher wear resistance, stain-resistance, a fire safety. You may be sure, that your shag rug will not light up from the stubs, which have incidentally fallen on a floor, because of a thermostability of fibers. The most suitable places for shag rugs disposal are bedrooms and child rooms.
